StreamWeek tracks streaming premieres in India, including international productions. The calendar is a work in progress. Its confirmed view is intentionally limited to releases with explicit India premiere evidence.
What counts as a premiere?
A new series, limited series, returning season or a movie’s first streaming debut in India. A returning season needs its own season number and date. We exclude routine weekly episode drops and keep ordinary catalogue additions in their own optional view.
A provider’s first-detected timestamp is evidence of detection, not proof of a release date. Announced dates, detection timestamps and verification timestamps are stored separately. Unknown or uncertain dates never enter the confirmed weekly view.

Movie of the Night documents India catalogues for Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, JioHotstar, ZEE5, Sony LIV, MUBI, Curiosity Stream and Crunchyroll. Live coverage has not been tested with a credential. Upcoming changes are documented for only a subset of platforms; Indian services such as JioHotstar, ZEE5 and Sony LIV have gaps.

Dates and matching
Weeks run Monday through Sunday in Asia/Kolkata. The week is calculated in your browser using India time, regardless of where you browse. Stable IMDb, TMDB and provider identifiers match records; seasons and platform events remain separate when their dates differ. Multiple legitimate offers are preserved.
Audio languages are recorded only when known. Subtitles never imply a dub. Prime Video add-ons are labelled separately from the base subscription. Missing watch links and identifiers remain unknown.
Updates and failures
The planned refresh is daily at 06:13 IST, using scheduled GitHub Actions. Activation is blocked pending source credentials, a durable deployment token and verified free-usage safeguards. No scheduled run has been observed.
The pipeline keeps the last valid catalogue if an update fails, uses overlapping catch-up windows, follows pagination within a request budget and stops before free quota exhaustion. Data older than 48 hours displays a warning. Persistent failures and quota problems generate an owner alert when automation is active.
Rights and attribution
Only the minimal permitted fields needed for this calendar are displayed. Posters, platform logos, plot descriptions and provider ratings are omitted. Rotten Tomatoes scores and links are omitted because permitted use and reliable matching have not been established. No bulk download or redistribution API is offered.
